Amidst the mountains and the valleys,
Lies a land with a tale of sorrows,
Where pain echoes in every alley,
And fear haunts the land of tomorrows.
Kashmir, a paradise with a bitter fate,
Where guns and grenades have replaced peace,
The land once adorned with love and grace,
Now bleeds with every passing breeze.
Mothers weep for their lost children,
Fathers mourn their shattered dreams,
Innocent lives cut short in a moment,
And the land echoes with silent screams.
The once serene Dal Lake now bears witness,
To the horrors of human greed and hate,
The shikaras sail on the blood of the innocent,
And the snow-capped mountains lament their fate.
In the name of politics and religion,
Lies the reason for this ongoing strife,
While the people suffer in desperation,
Yearning for a peaceful and normal life.
The scars of the past have yet to heal,
And the wounds of the present run deep,
But the hope of a better tomorrow,
Is a promise the people of Kashmir will keep.
As the winds of change slowly blow,
And the world begins to take notice,
May the land of Kashmir finally know,
A future where love and peace reigns in focus.
truly one of your most beautiful poems,in love with every bit of it.
