Last night I almost died,
And you flashed before my eyes,
Today I gaze down the meadows,
Lifeless,
Dull creatures lying around,
The fog lowering my gaze,
What is this supposed to mean?
Perhaps,
You're omnipresent,
Or am I dreaming?
What do I tell these trees?
They're whistling perpetually,
Is this a calling?
Or did I lose my sight?
The river is still,
Not wanting to flow,
Hawks above my head confused,
Now crows feed on them,
Grass beneath like a carpet,
Welcoming my death,
I breached the line,
And you flashed before my eyes.
